    Mauer is overrated. Right now, the MLB player with the most similar career is Jason Kendall. And if he switches to 1B/DH he will have less value. Essentially he would be Hal Morris. How many years did he last on the HOF ballot?

    Beckett, 5 2/3, 3 runs. (Okay it was at Coors Field, but Dodgers were shut out.) I'll take that every time out.

    According to baseballreference.com, Mickey Cochrane is the most similar player to Mauer through age 28. No. 8 on that list? Derek Jeter. :)
