I'm praying for some tiebreakers. Just because

You still hear the ridiculous arguments about not voting for a player whose team did not make the playoffs. As if Trout could have possibly done more if the Angels don't make it.

He should, but if the Tigers make the playoffs, I wouldn't be completely shocked to see Miguel Cabrera edge him out.

Has Bud decided which AL wild card team will have to give up its spot so the Red Sox can make the postseason this year?

Oh, absolutely. How awesome would a six-team, single-elimination tournament be?
Plus, an interesting wrinkle is the new 2-3 format for the division series. Not even the top seed would get through this thing completely stress-free.

Padres finish off the sweep of the Cardinals. Dodgers now within a half-game -- with four straight at Dodger Stadium starting tomorrow -- Pirates within two and the Phillies are three back as they head to Houston for four games.
I feel like I'm watching a crappy George Romero movie. "Night of the Living Wild Card."

Andrew Miller works quickly, it's like he's late for a Phish concert.

    Cubs suck more.

But not as much as Houston.
