Braun with another HR. He has no chance to win it, but I would say he is clearly the MVP at this point.

Buster Posey's been unbelievable lately. He has 14 hits in the past seven games. I think he deserves it, and I say that without any judgment against Ryan Braun, who should (but won't) finish second.

Posey also plays a much more difficult position. I can't argue Posey, he's who I have been saying should get it, but Braun is on fire.

I guess it's pretty hot in L.A. today, but still, a lot of empty seats at Dodger Stadium for a Sunday game with some importance.

Way to go, Phillies. A chance to take advantage of the Cardinals crapping the bed and maybe tie for the wild card, and you go and lose three of four to the fucking Astros.
    Brilliant. Just fucking brilliant.

I did see that the Astros are something like 20 games over .500 against the Phillies since 2004. So they do have the Phils' number. But still, it's a 100-loss team. Can't give those gimmes away at this time of year.

    That't not entirely correct.

    Houston is a 110-loss team.

St. Louis willl soon have several opportunities to crap the bed against Houston.
