I think he's including the Expos.

I understood. I'm just not sure there are many people who were Expos fans in 1981 and Nationals fans in 2012.

It was cool being in the park tonight. I'll remember that one for a while.

I've never seen Storen pitch like that. Best he's ever looked. Struck out the side in the 9th (Kemp, Gonzalez, Ramirez) and made them look pretty foolish in the process.

Speaking of foolish, I spent $60 on a 2012 Playoffs hat and t-shirt after the game.

It was just a gentle dig.

There are a lot of bitter Expos fans who will never forget '94 when they had the best record in baseball prior to the lockout and will never forgive the incompetent and fraudulent ownership of the franchise under Jeffrey Loria who had no desire to keep the team in Montreal. That said, Olympic Stadium was a godawful place to watch baseball.

As they say, "bygones" and yes, congrats to the Nats. I'll be cheering for them in the post season while I shake my Youppi bobblehead doll

I know I'm a fanboy, but since Aug. 15, the Brewers have passed SIX FUCKING TEAMS to get in the position their currently in. At that point, Milwaukee was 12 games under .500, now the Brewers are five games over. That's a crazy-ass run.

    Gobsmacked to the max.

I think you can finally stick a fork in the Angels after Beltre's blast off Frieri in the ninth tonight.

Cardinals are lucky they have six more games to go against the Cubs and Astros. They need to win basically all of them because they'll be lucky to split the last two series against the Nats and Reds.

I'm very interested to see how Carpenter fares Friday against the Cubs. If he even approaches the level he had last year — and especially in the playoffs — St. Louis will be tough to beat. He could be a difference-maker if the Cards make the playoffs.
