I do sympathize with the Angels to some extent. I don't think they thought Morales would be ready to play this year. And they can't just proceed w/him as a 140-games-a-year DH b/c you never know when he will break his ankle while on the crapper or something.

I just don't think the team is very good.

I agree they need to just cut bait with Wells. He is broken, permanently.

The Angels owe Vernon Wells about $60 million dollars. They're not going to eat that to find more at-bats for Bourjos as long as Wells is at least hitting for power and Bourjos is batting .178.

Bottom line, once Pujols and Kendrick start hitting, they'll be fine.

They don't need to find at-bats for Bourjos to sit Wells unless they continue to live with Trumbo's awful defense at third base.

Fair point. If they can't slot Trumbo at 3rd regularly, Wells has to sit eventually.

As long as he hits .1100 against Texas, not a chance in hell he gets traded.

Trout's 20. He was 19 when they called him up last year, but he turned 20 in August.

    Twins can't lose today.

Nothing like rooting for a rainout.

Is Tim McCarver suggesting that climate change makes the air thinner and therefore makes balls travel further?

Wells is an awful fielder. Last night was a mess in CF. He isn't long for this team.

Arte continues to write large-ass checks to make messes go away.

Who wanted to get rid of Napoli so bad he was willing to take on Wells' contract?

Hint: He sits in the dugout every day.

Does it make you feel good to correct the mistakes of others? Does it? Give you a little surge of excitement? :D :D :D
