7 innings, 4 hits, 1 earned run, 9 strikeouts. now 4-0 and the season era down to 2.18 - 1.12 era since the 1st inning of his debut. i'll take it. i know it's still very early but where's all that fail that was predicted in sj land?

Who was it that was talking about Ryan Braun's lousy start being a reason for concern? He has three home runs in Petco tonight to give him seven on the season. He's up to 15 RBI and is batting .286.

Yu Darvish and Robbie Ross are the first two rookie teammates ever to go 4-0 in April.

Yeah, yeah. And I'm sure the entire Cardinals' pitching staff is juicing, too. ::)

Albert Pujols may be disappointing, but C.J. Wilson is giving the Angels what they paid for. He improved to 3-2 with a 2.70 ERA tonight. His ERA was under 2.00 until he gave up three runs in the eighth inning.

He had the Jays off balance all night. I think the only mistake he made was the pitch to Encarnacion. Drabek was pretty solids for the Jays too, even if he didn't end up with anything to show for it.

    Exactly what I was thinking.

He made some of the Jays hitters look foolish out there. Just some nasty stuff. I also liked his composure out on the mound.

Agree about Drabek, too. It's good to see him rebound from a terrible year. Hopefully he keeps working hard and eventually becomes what the Jays hoped for.
