That's funny. C.J. Wilson's replacement is giving the Rangers what they paid for, too. He improved to 4-0 with a 2.18 ERA last night. His ERA was 36.00 until he decided to give up 4 ER in his next 32. And better still, you don't have to mix vinegar and water for the new guy.

Marc Topkin writes that Longoria's injury is a hamstring, and he'll probably be out 6-8 weeks. Ouch.

Thought the 8th/9th back-to-back of Adams-Nathan looked pretty damn good, too.

You guys who have been pining for Mickey Hatcher's departure might just get your wish -- Pujols is pissed at him already.

It's kind of nice to see a player say that something should stay in the clubhouse about something good. Usually, they only say that when they're getting hung out to dry after saying something controversial.

Thought the only Jays who had good ABs against him were Encarnacion and Thames. The rest? Meh....

The Dodgers and Cubs have both played 23 games. Matt Kemp has 12 home runs. The Cubs have 9.

    Padres have 11.
Nats and Pirates only have one more than Kemp.

The latest Luke Hochevar meltdown arrived, right on schedule. Fucker's as accurate as a lunar calendar.

Meet your new AL batting leader, Derek Jeter.

He went 3-5 to raise his batting average to an even .400.

In his career, this is the latest ever in a seaon that he's had a batting average of .400 or better.

Bryce Harper made his debut in DC, and the ballpark was barely half full. Eesh.
