Am I the only one who doesn't give a damn about Lesnar?

I say 'meh.' Lesnar is probably back to work a part-time schedule at best. The guy left because he was burned out from the schedule. But, he's Brock, and Brock will draw.

I'm more interested in the further exploits of Punk-Jericho.

    Dark match: Orton-Big Show-Sheamus vs Kane-Cody Rhodes-Daniel Bryan.

Sheamus is the most over heel. Bryan is the most over face. By a mile.

Bryan did the kick-to-kneeling-Sheamus thing. Huge "Yes!" on every kick. Then Sheamus does the forearm barrage on Bryan. "No!" on every hit.

When Bryan's in, crowd chants "Yes!" to every move. When he's not, crowd chants "We want Bryan!" Bryan's on the apron cracking up now.

What's amazing is WWE tried to make Sheamus look really awesome by booking a 1980s style match. I'm not saying every crowd is going to be as smart as the one tonight, but they really hurt him by thinking they could get away with such a stupidly booked match.

There's some more great tweets, and Bryan took the mic and announced he's going to have a new T-shirt made.

It's nights like tonight where I really hate the internet.

That Lesnar return would have made me mark out like a Motherf**ker ... if I didn't read about him signing back up with the WWE a couple days ago and didn't read about his return happening on Facebook before I watched the show.

I know it's my own fault for reading wrestling sites but, shit, I miss the surprises sometimes.

That being said, I thought this was a great show tonight ... but only because the crowd was one of the best I've ever seen. What I wouldn't have given to be in that atmosphere tonight.

I know Post-Mania crowds are usually insane--mostly because they're full of people who paid good money to see Mania and stay the extra day and, therefore, are usually older, hardcore WWE fans--but this was great. If the WWE somehow rides this Daniel Bryan momentum and keeps it up on the level it was tonight, then last night's 18-second match is going to go down as one of the most brilliant moves VKM has had in years.

If it doesn't, though, Bryan is screwed.

As for Cena, I'm really hoping he changes ... at least a little. My ideal scenario would be for him to job to Lesnar, come back, go full on heel, get the belt, keep the belt till Rumble, Rock comes back and wins Rumble and we get a rematch where Cena goes over clean but that'll never happen.

Instead, Cena will probably beat Lesnar in his first match and spend the next year feuding with David Otunga for the WWE title.

We basically had a double turn at Mania without anyone doing something nefarious. Daniel Bryan, the next SCSA lol

The crowd last night was probably the smarkiest one the WWE has had in years, at least that I can remember. Daniel Bryan was the most over wrestler, and there was basically no reaction for all of the usual boring shit the WWE throws out there. Of course, like everyone else, I loved it.

I know it was only one appearance, but Lord Tensai already seems like a bust. Riley was selling the shit out of all of his moves and no one cared. A-Train has negative chemistry with American crowds. I can see why he's big in Japan - don't they like that no-selling, hard shoot stuff more?

Funkasaurus being paired with Santino is probably a smart move for both of them. In contrast, the WWE has managed to turn one of its most over performers from six months ago - Zach Ryder - into shit via a goofy angle with Kane, Cena and Eve, and by making him look like a pussy in and out of the ring (getting kicked in the nuts, jobbing constantly to the stars).

And finally, I'd like to see Johnny Ace get even more overt with his evilness. Throw Punk in a gauntlet next week. Put Santino in a cage match.

I don't really trust them to do anything with it, since it's not something they planned. The last couple guys who got inexplicably popular - Punk, Ryder - quickly fell off their peaks with poor booking. Punk has recovered a bit, but he went from being the next SCSA last summer when he bolted with the title belt to just another guy for a couple months because of the feud with Triple H and Kevin Nash.

Looks like I gotta start watching Raw again. It's only been, what, 5 years?
