2012 Pro Wrestling Thread

Ummm, swindled Hulk out of his assets is a big jump there. Lots of stuff coming out now about just how shady Hulk was out of the ring as well.

There's even a sex tape apparently, which Linda is trying to get a hold of so she can prove if he had an affair while he was married to her.

And for the record, Hulk Hogan is a douche.

 

From all accounts, and from the spawn they've raised, it seems like they deserved each other. No angels in that marriage, it sounded like.

 

I didn't mean swindled as in I thought Hogan got ripped off. The guy deserved it.

 

Any day now, Michael Cole will announce that Ryback now has a 63-match winning streak, as he continues to bury jobbers on SmackDown. I love the "Goldberg" chants from the smarks. I've yet to see a Ryback appearance without hearing it.

Feed. Him. More!

 

I just want to see how long it takes before they put Ryback in with somebody that will force Ryback to carry the match (e.g. Great Khali). I put it at a month or less.

 

And yet I think Brooke is the least corrupt of all of them.

 

If he starts yelling, "We're outta time!" at the end of the show, I'm going to cry.

 

"Braves baseball next!!!"

 

Glad I'm not the only one with those memories. Occasionally I'll go back and find some of the TBS Saturday Night NWA stuff on YouTube and reminisce. Great times, man. Great times.

One classic match from the NWA 80's days and I'll let it go. This is what wrestling should be like.
Magnum TA-Nikita Koloff from their best-of-7 series in 1986, this is match 4 where Koloff is up 3-0.....

 

The thing that WCW did a few times that always killed me (and not in a good way) was when they expanded Nitro to three hours, and started doing a countdown at the end of the first hour, even with a fucking countdown clock. Then, they'd explode pyro right at 9 p.m. ... even though there was a match going on in the ring at that moment.
