Sin Cara is supposed to be back this week. That might be one more draw for them.

I'm fairly certain it was stuff regarding this summer. They wanted to give him another run to see what he could do this time around. I forget what site it was, maybe Figure Four, but the story said they were going to push him to the moon this summer and give him another title run.

Yawn. We'll see how long he lasts this time around. I wonder in his time away if the WWE made him adapt to their style of wrestling? If so, that's going to make him worse to watch.

So Miz should have RKO'd Orton?

Meanwhile, TNA is sinking to new depths of the phenomenon known as LOLTNA.

So congratulations, TNA, you're graduating from 1999 WCW to 2000 WCW.

Between him and Jericho getting 30 days for his Brazilian fiasco, I guess that feud's either a) dead or b) going to need some really interesting rewrites in about two months.

Oops. Orton is on strike 2 now. Wonder if it was for spice or what.

  8. It puts Orton back in time for Summer Slam. Putting him back to his monster heel role would be a sound move at this point. He still looks uncomfortable as a face. That said, the door opens for Rhodes, Ziggler, a soon to be returning Wade Barrett and perhaps Christian as those who can benefit on Smackdown.

Yeah, I'll be interested to see who they push with two of their main guys on the sidelines for 30 and 60 days.

  10. The way it's going it'll probably be Tensai and Jinder Mahal or something.

I hope when Barrett returns he gets a huge push. The WWE is seriously lacking in heels right now in my opinion. Turning Big Show helps but they need more.

  11. I'm morbidly curious about tonight's live Impact show. I think it could work provided it doesn't become an extension of Hulk Knows Best. Roode is probably the best heel in the business right now, and showcasing him needs to be their top priority. A title match with Sting is not the best route, although one has to hope Sting puts Roode over.

With a growing sense of boredom with WWE, this is a good chance for Impact to draw viewers and perhaps regain some of the momentum they had a few years ago. Their roster is pretty sound, and if they can properly use the vets and has-beens to push their homegrown talent, then this could be a good first step.

That said, get ready for about 45 minutes of Hulk and Brooke Hogan air time.

One of the websites (Pro Wrestling Torch?, I can't remember) had Tensai already being repackaged because the brass doesn't like how his character has developed. Gee, I wonder why (Put Albert in a martial arts gimmick, brilliant!).
