2012 Pro Wrestling Thread

I'm hoping for blue. Yay Cena!

 

I watched SmackDown last night, thought about posting some thoughts, but I already forgot what happened. Must've been a good show. </bluefont>

 

I was bored tonight, surfing around on Youtube, and ended up watching some of the 80s Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling.

For all the cheesey matches they put on, I was surprised that there were actually a couple of pretty good worked matches on there, and the girls did take some pretty decent bumps. And then I got curious about how they looked today. So I went on Facebook, typed in Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling ... and found a whole site with a bunch of pics. They were also having a documentary done.

Quite a few of the GLOW girls still look fabulous. And it's funny seeing them today looking like normal everyday women who you could bump into anywheres, when I remember them in their goofy characters.

 

The E should get Gina Carano for a WM appearance soon. At least she could fight and be a pretty face.

 

I imagine she might not have any interest in that. Wasn't she the star of a legit well-reviewed movie?

 

If Maria Menoulos can get a WM match, why not?

 

They started the show with a match? What is this?

We're 30 minutes in, and they're getting ready to start match No. 2.

Who wrote this show?

 

Just getting all the wrestling out of the way early so we can get to Cena Time.

 

Oh yeah. I forgot he has some big announcement to make.

 

For the first hour, this has actually been a pretty entertaining show because ... gasp! ... they're actually wrestling.
