I had a feeling he might be coming back. There were only four people in the match AND it was a WWE champions invitation only event. Made sense.

Glad to see him back, be interesting if they have him win it and feud with Punk maybe for the summer.

  4. Can't imagine Miz wins. It's not beyond the WWE to do that but considering how absolutely buried he was before shooting the movie, that's a pretty tough sell barring some serious shenanigans. Really, if it's anyone but Cena I'll be surprised.

Watching online, I got a little excited when it seemed Dolph was going to cash. Pretty lame the way that went down in my opinion.

Well, the WWE Championship isn't the main event (when's the last time it was at a PPV?) so I guess that mean's SuperCena winning MitB will close our show. Yippee.

Cole mentions that out of 110-plus WWE Champions, Punk now holds the 17th longest reign at 248 days. I'd love to see his time with the belt last another few months.

I could see him holding on tonight so The E has a long-reigning, legit champion at the 1,000th Raw, where hopefully we'll get a new belt design.

Oh, hell, who am I kidding? Doesn't matter who wins tonight. SuperCena will win MitB, then cash it in on the 1,000th Raw so he can be presented an even uglier title belt.

Looks like Bryan's wearing a hybrid of Vietnam-era green fatigues and Scott Hall's old tights from his days in the Wolfpac.

It wouldn't surprise me if SuperCena wins after a grueling 20-minute-plus match, then immediately calls out Punk and beats him in 30 seconds.

Actually, my thinking is that Cena wins, then either right after the match or tomorrow night uses the briefcase to challenge Punk at SummerSlam. IIRC, wasn't that their last PPV singles match against each other? It'd make sense from a character standpoint for Cena -- get to beat Punk, the man who beat him for the title, one year later, etc. It'd also throw a wrinkle into the established (and tired) "get 'em while their down" MITB cash-in formula.
