I can see him cashing it in and losing because whoever his next WM opponent interferes and costs him the title.

Is this how you get to Cena-Lesnar II at WM? Lesnar wrestles HHH at SS, then costs Cena the title match later that night, then taunts him from afar until WM season?

Actually, yeah, I can totally see that. Great point.

So does the bedazzled, spinner suitcase get introduced tonight?

It won't happen, but him having that suitcase could create the perfect opportunity for him to turn heel. He'll say he's going to cash it in advance with a set match (with the PPV and opponent already announced), but then strike at a moment when the champion (especially if it's Punk) is vulnerable.

But as I said ... it won't happen.

Except that's how Daniel Bryan turned heel just last year.

Like WWE Creative has a memory bank ... :)

But seriously ... when Bryan did that against Show, did that fully turn him heel? I thought it was him being an annoying jackass after he got the belt that solidified his heel persona.

The best part of last night's PPV was hearing "Goldberg" chants for Ryback... Well, okay, the ladder matches were as fun as they always are. Still, it's always funny when fans poke at the WWE.

That started the turn and the whole YES! YES! YES! thing, then he sealed it up with the Big Show/AJ angle.

Come to think of it, Punk started his heel turn by cashing in on Jeff Hardy, though he didn't complete it until a week or two later, when he started the "straight edge means I'm better than you" part of his gimmick.

The main problem with setting up a WM match at Summerslam is how do you fill the time in between? God knows they couldn't do it very well for Cena's last WM match. At least with Heyman in the picture, he could be the proxy for Lesnar between Summerslam and WM, feeding him monsters and bribing friends to turn on him in an effort to get him out of the way so Lesnar can blow off WM or something. Matt Morgan, anyone?

  12. I don't expect any outcome other than Cena getting the strap back sooner than later. While he's one of the few that doesn't need to be in the title picture to be compelling (at least in the eyes of the E), I just have a feeling the WWE likes having the title on him and obviously in his mind going this long without it is him "sacrificing." He'll be rewarded as such in my opinion.
