Pretty much a harbinger of his eventual title reign.

So one night after they job to Primo and Epico again, the Primetime Players (Playas?) are finally getting their title shot.

I thought AW and that angle had some potential, but it feels vaguely racist to me, and I'm not sure why.

  4. Oh, there was more than just a vague racist slant. Stereotypical from the outset with the rip-off of Cryme Tyme. The E's racist horns are full bore with the PTP.

Nice touch with the father-sons moment.

    No guest GM tonight?

    That Rock-Austin spot was great.

Excellent promo between Y2J and Ziggler.

  9. Highlight of the night. I'm all in if they're setting that up for Summer Slam.

Probably won't happen. It seems as though Jericho is due for an upcoming hiatus (again) when Fozzy will be on the road through mid-August up through the end of September.

I, for one, who love to see a feud between Ziggler and Jericho, and tonight clearly set up what looks like a Jericho face turn.

Same! Looks like Jericho is going to turn face if that's the plan, which I'm fine with, since he hasn't been face in a while.

His hiatus starts after Summer Slam, IIRC, so they could do a feud to send him off for a while.
