Booker T pulled a power move and told Del Rio that he would, in fact, be wrestling. Pretty boring show overall. I actually fell asleep during the six-man tag match and had to rewind it on the DVR. I think that says a lot.

Any move to get Booker T off the mic is a good one. I imagine he'll be OK as a GM, even if the casting notes for Smackdown GM seem to be "just make a black guy do it, playa."

I think Booker will be good as a GM, especially given his facial expressions and his promo skills. Do I think maybe they could've put a more serious character in the spot? Sure, but as long as it's not another evil decision maker in the GM spot, I'm OK with it.

This pretty much sums up how I feel about Booker and Teddy being co-GMs or whatever they are:

So ... they didn't change much for episode 1,000, but tonight they've got a new theme song. WTF.

I kind of liked how Punk and Cena pretty much no-sold Big Show's music and entrance to keep arguing.

That's been the theme since 1,000.

You sure about that? Tonight is the first I've heard it.

Looks like it's time for Shawn Michaels to get the crap kicked out of him.

Well you've been on mute the last 2 weeks then. :D

They've added a secondary theme (kinda like what SD has done for a while), which may or may not be new. But the one they play at the show intro was added during the 1,000th episode.

Missed Raw due to a dinner engagement. Can somebody give me a Cliff's Notes on what happened?
