An excellent match with SuperCena and Bryan, with SuperCena winning after a nice sequence of him getting the STF on, only to have Bryan break it and counter it into the "No" Lock, which he couldn't quite do, and then Cena countered that into the AA.

Bryan was great here, screaming "No" the entire time. There were a group of fans dressed as refs, and Bryan and one ref fan (maybe a prop?) kept yelling "Yes!" No!" Yes!" No!"

Afterward, Punk comes down, then Show comes down. Cena tries to AA Show, and Punk again hits him from behind, hurting both. Punk then goes out of the ring, grabs the headphones, and gives a heel promo about how he's tired of kissing babies and smiling. Then he goes back in the ring, tries to kick Show, and Show knocks him, and then Cena out.

HBK, Lesnar, HHH, not much happened in the first segment, other than HBK saying he'll be in Trips' corner. I missed if anything else happened.

Otherwise, I can't tell you much. SKipped around between that and the Olympics.

Sheamus "stole" ADR's car and took it for a joyride around San Antonio.

Punk and Rey actually had a decent match to start the show, as did Show and Orton.

And Punk's promo before he got knocked the fuck out by Show was great.

Punk is great on the mic as a heel.

Lawler is on course to sound like Roscoe P. Coltrain, screaming "I love it, I love it, goo-goo-goo!!" Might as well put a hound in a chair next to him. Seriously, some one get rid of the guy.

And, remember, Big Show has an iron-clad contract, which means he's as dangerously boring as ever.

Also, there's nothing you can do to a fancy car that will ever top Stone Cold and the cement.

Stone Cold filling that car with cement was the best thing, quite possibly, ever. That was great then and stands the test of time.

Yeah, I felt pretty underwhelmed with the car segment. So much so that I totally forgot about it with the review.

As soon as you saw ADR and Ricardo leave the car, you knew something was going to happen. And all they did was show Sheamus steal it, and it came back with some tree branches and an orange cone in it. Lame.

It's all about how you set something up. I was working ringside for a Smackdown show in Charleston once years ago and I was told right before the Big Show-Kurt Angle main event to keep my area clear because a wrestler was going to be thrown over the railing. My little brother was watching on TV and said it was obvious something was up because several other security guys flooded the area that I had been at all night (I couldn't see who was behind me during the main event).

Angle was the one who tossed. The Rock was doing color commentary and he rock bottomed Show through the announce table. Sounded like an explosion. It was that loud.

They showed a Tout -- I think -- of Sheamus at one point last night. I seem to remember Cole showing a video of some sort during a break.

Kevin Nash, still pissed that the business passed him by without making him as big as Hogan, railing against two guys who are long dead. Talk about bitter. Otherwise, it's interesting insight on the man.

Real interesting article. It's appropriate that Nash was on The Outsiders, because I think that's what he always was in the business - I think it was always a paycheck to him, not really a calling or obsession like a lot of other guys. He comes across as a pretty cerebral guy at times, and I'd love to see him be an announcer or full-time GM.

That being said, I still think he's wrong about the world champions and their stature. Does he not watch MMA or boxing...? A variety of body types have shown that they can kick ass in the real world, so I'm not sure why he's so obsessed with the need of a WWE champion that's taller than six-feet.

Probably learned it from Hogan, who thought Bret Hart was too small to take the torch so he jobbed to Yoko instead in '93. The same Bret Hart who is bigger than every current champion except for Sheamus.

Very interesting stuff, especially the stuff on his anxiety attacks. You'd think a guy his size, with his money, would be feeling pretty good about himself. Yet he has the fear that he'll end up like so many others, broke.

And the height thing is ridiculous, especially considering that one of his best buds is HBK. It's not the size of the wrestler, it's whether the wrestler has the ability to make the fans believe he can beat guys bigger than him. HBK, Mysterio, Guerrero and that other guy all had that ability.
