Oh for fuck's sake. A car accident angle, followed by a sneak attack that basically ... no one can see.

Why not just show part of it with a big red X in the middle?

Stupid shit. (EDIT, KY beat me to it)

And I really thought WWE would get through a whole year without the "legend getting his ass beat in a parking lot" spot.

So kidnapping and assault of a WWE hall of famer are still not enough to void a contract, let alone send someone to jail?
    God, I love wrestling.

I don't know why I keep watching WWE.

I mean, I guess I just can't draw myself away from it or something.

That was absolutely horrible acting there, except for Paul's "Oh my God, you broke his arm!" (that I liked). From the people surrounding the car, to a broken windshield that, I guess, we're to assume HBK was thrown into, to HBK's overselling, to Trips acting all mad.

And call me crazy, but part of me was thinking HBK was trapped in the car's trunk, which would have been even sillier.

Not to mention, this whole thing has made HBK look like absolute shit. He's a Hall of Famer who has looked and acted terrified of Lesnar. It'd be one thing if HBK was 70 years old, but he's still in good shape. Have him show some courage, at least.

Second, if you're going to do a parking lot attack, can you, I don't know, at least show the fucking attack? Hell, the arm thing would have been even more effective if they had shown Brock slamming the car door on HBK's arm, similar to the Horsemen and Dusty Rhodes' leg.

Sometimes, the effectiveness of an angle works if it's simple. Stop trying to make a huge over-acted production out of everything.

The only thing I liked about the whole segment was Paul E. yelling "you broke his arm!" That, I thought, was pretty funny.

The rest of it was absolute horseshit. From the time HBK was mentioned as being in Triple H's corner at SS, everyone knew where this was headed: He was getting his ass kicked at some point by Lesnar. Only the execution sorely lacked.

When AJ said Brock had taken HBK, I didn't really expect to see the two of them coming back to the arena. I thought Brock put HBK in the trunk of Heyman's car, and they had driven off with him. Oh well.

Nah. This won't ruin HBK's reputation. His drug use in the 1990s tarnished his reputation. But we'll forget this mediocre angle even happened in a few months.

You've got to give Paul Heyman credit. He took an angle I really did not care about and made me care about it a little. I'm still not buying the Pay-Per-View, but thanks for the effort, Heyman Hustle.

I understand that they want to show a difference between being an "entertainer" and being a "fighter" by having HBK cower in front of Brock. I understand all the fake brutality and over-acting to sell this next PPV. But it's going to be an awful letdown come Sunday when we get a PG brawl. I mean, how ruthless can they really be? I would put money (if I weren't unemployed) on the match not even coming close to a Foley/Funk match in terms of brutality. The Brock/Undertaker Hell in a Cell from about 10 years ago was pretty damn brutal. It certainly helped that Taker bladed too deep and lost a few gallons of blood. But really, based on the Cena/Brock fight from a few months ago, I'm not expecting much on Sunday. In fact, when Trips goes over Brock, who could probably break his arm with ease, I expect to laugh.

Forgot to mention that a Q&A with Punk at the Chicago Wizard World Con was posted online, and he confirms a new design is coming for the WWE Championship, maybe within the next two months.

OK, since the ending overshadowed just about everything,

I have to say the wrestlign on the show was fantastic.

Three way dance between Jericho/Miz/Zigs was just ... well. AWWWWWWWWWWWWESOME!.

As was the interview segment before it. However, Piper kinda derailed the whole thing I thought.

Even the tag match at the end was good. Punk stealing Cena's moves, Cena stealing Punk's moves (although he screwed up and it's clobbering time after the bulldog instead of doing the GTS motion and saying NAP TIME!)

Also, Punk's interview after killed me "Well, I guess he learned a new move!"

They even gave the Divas more than 3 minutes. Shocking, I know.

I still want The E to sign Velvet Sky.
