Was rewatching Punk's original "pipe bomb" on the new WWE app earlier (it's not that bad) and noticed he referred to himself as a "Paul Heyman guy."
Any chance he does some sort of run-in to complete a heel turn during the HHH-Lesnar match?

It's the sort of match where they should have done it on Raw to set up either a vacated PPV title match for Cena and Punk, or declare it a two-way draw and give Cena the rematch.

OR, they could have done the old ECW Three-Way-Dance way and have to have two pins. That would have eliminated Show, then let Cena and Punk battle.

Otherwise, just a weird, and unnecessary way to have a WWE title match on a major PPV end.

    Oh, and this was funny:

"Come on Summerslam, make some noise!"

    "BOOOOO!"

This concept of a pre-match that's NOT a part of the PPV sucks. Especially when they sentence us to a five-minute concert and the usual "Let's let LA's elite get face time" (including a finger to the audience). Show it on YouTube if you want. But dammit, especiallyif it's a championship fight, if you pay for it you damned well better see it.

I feel bad for anyone who actually paid to watch this PPV, or attend live.

It's LA. WTH do you expect?

Worst PPV of the year thus far, hands down.

Good ending, and I realize they were trying to tell a story here, but I nearly fell asleep watching it.

Trips just isn't that sympathetic as a babyface. Michaels would have been better in this role here.

HHH-Lesnar wasn't even close to its hype.

This is funny. They're going for the valiant warrior thing, and the fans are chanting, "You tapped out!"

  11. What happened in HHH/Lesnar?

Turned off the feed on my computer to watch Breaking Bad.

Lesnar worked the left arm almost exclusively, and Trips worked the midsection. Trips hit the Pedigree twice, and when he went to cover after the second, Lesnar put him in the kimura lock for (at least) the second time and made Trips tap. They were trying to act like Lesnar broke Trips' arm again.
