It was bad in a funny kind of way, at least.

R-Truth even acknowledged that he was in .... GREEN BAY .... and not MILWAUKEE like last time.

Since I think Schiz might be busy with work this week, I do believe he and Mrs. Schiz were at that concert as well, and said that Chris Jericho was a delight of a guy. Not just a great showman, but a great man.

  3. Awful show for the most part. Kane was the best part. The bit with him running down his life story and the Pete Rose reference was absolutely hilarious. Guy's a good performer, I kind of think when all is said and done, he'll go down as one of the E's most underappreciated superstars.

Kane channeled his inner George Costanza going up against the Tale of the Andrea Doria.

    Pure gold.

I watched the first segment and then turned it off. Haven't done that in a while. I guess I didn't miss a damn thing.

When Kane was telling his life story, he said something like, "... I had a girlfriend named Katie. That didn't work out."

"I buried my brother alive. Twice." Great stuff from Kane, laughed like hell at the Pete Rose reference.

Kane's sketch was the best of the night.

Did we really need Lawler involved in yet another battle of wits with the WWE Champion? Otherwise, I'm enjoying the Punk turn more and more. He's better on the mic when he can let loose as a heel. He's saying all the things I'm thinking about Lawler's awful schtick. But working with Lawler isn't doing anything for him. I mean, he's been the champion for nearly 10 months, but he can barely hang with a senior citzen?

The rest of the show was a waste.

Remember when WWE champion vs. IC champion would have been an epic, historic battle and not just a pointless burying/top-star wankfest?

I didn't mind the way the Punk-Lawler match was worked. All of Lawler's offensive spots were opportunistic, maybe even lucky, shots. He didn't control the match at any point, which is the way it should be. Even his fist drop and near-fall flowed out of a sequence where he stunned Punk with one or two shots.
Now, why Punk is picking on Lawler? That I don't really understand. Who gives a crap what Jerry Lawler says? Be a Star, Punk!

Another gem from last night ... R-Truth correctly remembering that he was in Milwaukee:
    (start at 4:30)

    Unlike the previous time:
