The X is supposed to mean that, but you can't trust it. It's been used as part of an angle many times.

    Exactly.

It used to mean an injury until the fans got smart to it. Now they frequently use it as an angle.

I remember a ladder match that Flair was in (I want to say it was at one of the Money in the Banks), where Flair took a bump, and a ref came over, took one look, and made this huge exaggerated "X". Several refs tended to Flair, and then he came back in the match later.

I'm thinking that Eve is in cahoots with Kane on this ... she, for some reason, ran into the ambulance to seek refuge from Kane.

And I'm ashamed to admit this ...

I'm kinda intrigued by this Cena-Kane "Feel the hate" angle

Unfortunately for Kane, the things list of things he won't do doesn't include the dead girl he was hot for.

Actually, I've read on a couple of sites already that the writers have been mulling over an Eve heel turn, so I won't be totally surprised if we see it.

  7. I have no opinions on the Kane-Cena thing. I'm tired of it and I am not even remotely interested in the "love triangle." Maybe if they had established that Ryder and Eve were "together" a while ago in the million chances they had to do so I would feel different. Someone pointed out pages ago that Eve and Ryder hadn't so much as kissed making buying them as a legit couple impossible. So her kissing Cena was meh to me.

I'm admittedly a bit of a mark for Kofi because I think he's probably the best pure athlete in the WWE right now and I have never really understood why he doesn't get more opportunities. Good to see him get some legit play last night and almost take down Jericho. I'm hoping they at least find a way for him to not be the first man gone in the Chamber. Of course, with the way Miz is getting squashed right now, it'll probably be him.

Also, I am really starting to like R Truth. I wouldn't mind seeing him in the main event picture, either. Not sure he'll ever be as over as he is right now and he is also fun to watch in the ring.

No Funkasaurus the last couple of weeks. Guess he won't be involved in 'Mania and any momentum he was gaining is going to evaporate quickly. Guy desperately needs a feud or he'll fall off the face of the planet.

HBK-HHH was really well done. But I still don't want to see Taker-Trips at 'Mania.

I agree with this too. I don't want to see two months of "Pleaaaae, prettey pleasss Hunter, will you face Undertaker againnnn? It's almost like he has this need for the fans to feel sorry for him.

Same as with the Laurinaitis angle. Awww, poor Hunter. Poor guy who married the boss' daughter, treated a whole bunch of people underneath him like shit, and only now, we should feel sorry for him. He's been demoted. Never mind that he represents corporate America just as much as the other guy. He needs our cheers!

  9. Just read some stuff online where Mick Foley was expressing concern for Ryder, saying that fall looked really bad. Entirely possible he really was hurt.

When Ryder went off the stage, it looked like he legit panicked with his legs, putting them out to stop the fall. It didn't look good at all, that's for damn sure. If Foley is concerned about someone taking a bump like that, then perhaps he did legit hurt himself.

However, if he is OK the guy can take a bump. And I think this just sets up Ryder, when he comes back, for a mega-face run against Cena if they turn him full heel at Mania.

Loved the brief "You fucked up!" chant after he missed that first RKO.

Maybe that's why Zach Gowen took this bump from Brock Lesnar better. He only had the one leg.

to see just how awesome Lesnar was as a fucking evil heel
