On Jim Ross' Twitter account, he mentioned that Cowboys Stadium is tied up with NCAA hoops the next couple of years, which is why no WrestleMania there yet.

Pretty good stuff. So I guess Daniel Bryan has a new threat to his reign as Best Vegan Wrestler in the World.

God bless the in-ring comedic stylings of Santino Marella!

  4. Curious to see what happens tonight though I fully expect Punk and Bryan to retain.

Assuming that happens, there is still a nice opportunity to push some guys by getting them further into the chamber. I really hope we don't get Big Show and Bryan as the final two or Punk-Jericho. I realize Punk-Jericho is the story for Wrestlemania but they can still advance that while getting someone else a little juice. Personally, I'd like to see Kofi be that guy but R Truth would be solid too. On the Smackdown, hope it's Cody or Wade.

    Christian is in Milwaukee.

I refuse to believe Santino even makes it into the Chamber. Maybe that's how it happens.

Loved Santino in the Smackdown battle royale. Funny as always and a good pop. Hope he makes it to the match, but podunk's news about Christian plants that seed of uncertainty. I'm going to guess that Ziggler and Rhodes are the last eliminated on the way to Punk and Bryan retaining, continuing their big 2012 pushes.

Tonight's show is so predictable, and I guess that's somewhat the point for a show leading into the signature event on the calendar. Still, it's pretty easy to pick out the winners: Bryan retains by some form of chicanery to set up his match with Sheamus, Jericho wins to set up the rematch with Punk, Beth Phoenix wins to set up the Kharma feud and, of course ...

They'll probably add another round of Colons vs. Usos (I'd like to see the Usos get the belts again; they have a good intro and decent offense and engage the crowd pretty well). Swagger might defend his U.S. title, though there really aren't many available opponents (Kidd? Dibiase?). Would WWE blow the Christian return with a face turn as a surprise opponent for Swagger? I wouldn't put it past them.

  8. You think Jericho wins instead of just leaving it on Punk?

Listened to the Punk interview on ESPN Milwaukee during my drive home today and really enjoyed it. He came across, as always, as a guy I'd like to have a beer ... I mean a Pepsi ... I mean a glass of soy milk with for an hour.

    Thanks for posting it, Gutter.

I think a Jericho loss could really hurt whatever momentum he has. He really hasn't done that much since coming back -- misdirect videos, non-promo promos, abrupt turn to arrogant neophyte-hating Jericho, a win over Kofi Kingston and a loss at the Royal Rumble. A loss here makes it very hard to build enthusiasm for a 1-on-1 match with Punk.

I think what you might see tonight is a surprise winner in the RAW event.

I wouldn't mind seeing Ziggler win, lastly eliminating Punk after a Jericho beatdown because he got eliminated. They don't need the belt to revolve around that issue of (Best in the World IMO).

Sheamus then challenges the Show Off at Mania.

Bryan should retain if only to lose to SHOW at Mania.

Then again, I'm probably so far off it isn't funny, but I can this scenario going down.
