There's a name we haven't heard from in a while. Andy from Tough Enough.

Didn't he have a suspension or three for wellness policy violations?

Barrett now out three to four months.

One report I read says MitB was scrapped because Barrett was supposed to win it. Instead, the E is heating up the GM war, which will likely include a multi-person tag match filled with midcarders.

I'm also wondering what the plan for Orton will be? Either he was going to have a blowout with Barrett at WM or something else, but with him having injuries I could see the reluctance to commit to an angle.

Looks like he'll be feuding with Kane, a.k.a. "The Big Red Placeholder."

No Money in the Bank? I was going to buy Wrestlemania, but not without MITB.

Here's the thing about MITB, they could have still had it, and still had Barrett win.

They didn't need to announce him as a participant. They've had the precedence of having non-participants try to get the briefcase (Hornswoggle, Vicki) because there really are no rules to the match. They could have had six other guys battle it out, do the bumps, then have Barrett run down and win it.

Then Barrett could recover, do a promo or two while he was sitting out, and then come back. With the briefcase.

Alternatively, they could do the Edge-Kennedy switch from a few years ago. Barrett somehow gets the MITB winner to put his briefcase on the line in a match at the May or June PPV (or even Raw), then move on from there.

Yeah, but both of these scenarios would require simplicity, which is a road the WWE rarely takes.

Nah, I wouldn't want a last-minute run-in. It devalues the match and the work those guys put into it. I also don't like the idea of putting the briefcase on the line. I understand Kennedy was injured, but with the one-year clause he had plenty of time to recover. I'm guessing he lost the briefcase because the E pondered not bringing him back from injury that time.

    Random question ...

Who would you mark out the most for if their music unexpectedly hit at the beginning of Raw this Monday night? Can be anyone at all ... and throw out all reasoning why it can't/won't happen.

    Here's mine:

I realized this today at the circus of all places. During one of the performances, this tune accompanied it ... took me a lot of will power to not shout out the two words that accompany it. :D
