And the rumor is he's going to be a lackey for Johnny Ace after Mania, which means Johnny Ace wins control of both shows.

Ugh. While I don't think Johnny Ace completely sucks in the authority figure role, he's at best a neutral thing to me. At worst, I find the storylines involving him to just cause everything else sucked up in the vortex to, uh, suck. Also, A-Train sucks, so hopefully they aren't expecting him to wrestle much. (Although isn't he a pretty big deal in Japan, like Spinal Tap?)

He is. Apparently held a title(s) while there, too.

Always loved the "SHAVE YOUR BACK" chants.

Yeah, I mis-read the accident at first. I thought the Civic driver hit Cena's van, then the truck hit the Civic. My bad.

Still, it'd be a good line to use in court.

Not to mention, the story said that Cena calmed down the other two drivers:

Civic Driver: You asshole, you rear-ended me

Truck Driver: You asshole, you stopped too fast.

Cena: Guys, guys, guys, come on. Rise above the hate.

Yeah, but is the world really clamoring to bring back A-Train?

“I’ve been in plenty of car wrecks before,” the former WWE Champion said.

Yeah, like most of his matches.

The frustrating thing with Cena is, he'll do that in the bigger PPV matches. Watch his matches with Punk last summer and you'll see what I'm talking about. He just doesn't do it enough on Raw to make people realize he CAN bring that element. He also has that same damn five-move pattern that he performs every single match. At least with Orton, his signature moves are a little more spread out during the match
Maybe, being 10 years into his career now, Cena's reached the point where he's starting to pick his spots to preserve his body, I don't know. I do know that he could definitely benefit from some adjustments in the ring to freshen things up a bit. If he did that, he might not even have to change his character that much to win over some of the hardcore fans.

Truck Driver: Screw you, Cena! I'm sending David Otunga a Twitter message. We'll see you in court.

I don't see a reason to hire someone established and with a WWE background to be Laurinaitis's bodyguard. Can't they tap some tall and/or fat guy from FCW to stand there and look intimidating? If they hadn't gone the Funkasaurus route, Brodus would have been a good fit as the big bad protector, since he did it for a living and looks a lot more scary dressed up than he does in his King Kong Bundy sniglet. In fact, I wonder if that wasn't the plan at some point. That said, I'll take the world's only romping stomping Funkasaurus in captivity.

Strong opening promo from Punk and Jericho.
And then we get 30 seconds of a close up of Big Show's junk. Nice work, WWE.
