    The Yankees.

And they convert him to shortstop.

Nicely done. Even better because it sailed way over his head.

Anyone want to make a prediction for 2014 World Series? If everyone stays healthy the Yankees will be the team to beat in the AL. If not, it will be Detroit. In the NL I see the Phillies making another run.

I would like to see Selig add more playoff teams next year. Proposal: division with the best record automatically gets three playoff berths. Most years this would be the AL East. Even the last place Blue Jays were good enough to win the AL Central or West. They had winning records against all divisions except the East.

    Miami vs Houston

The Yankees will struggle after A-Rod decides to sign with the Nippon Ham Fighters and will trade Jeter to a contender at the deadline. They finish fourth, ahead of only the Red Sox who fall off the chicken and beer wagon and lose 105 games.

That's not too far-fetched a scenario involving A-roid. But the question is, dIoes young Steinbrenner open the wallet like the old man would?

In the NL West, I know the Dodgers have Kershaw and Greinke, but as a team, can they repeat the pace they set this past season?

Jeter has a no trade clause
