I'm an old timer and I never liked the collision at the plate play, what's so manly about taking out a stationary defenseless guy? People complaining? irrelevant noise, they're not the guys taking the impact of the collisions.

 

If Pablo Sandoval stays like this, he's on the MVP short list.

I agree. Taking out the catcher is illegal at every level of amateur baseball, and it takes nothing away from the game.

The Texas Rangers just took Russell Wilson in the Rule 5 draft. I suspect it was a wasted pick.

A friend of mine, his son was signed by the Rockies last season and sent to low-A Asheville, N.C. So I started looking at that website to see how the kid was doing and discovered that Wilson was on their roster. I guess everybody has to be on a roster.
