It was a request, one you apparently don't have enough respect for anybody on this board to go along with. Troll.

Paging IJAG ... Dusty Baker was fired because he wouldn't fire hitting coach Brook Jacoby:

That's fucking awesome. I will never forgive Dusty, but that puts him in a very slightly more positive light for me.

So, I don't really know who the hot managing names are any more. Anyone have ideas who a logical replacement for Baker is?

Tony La Russa? He and GM Walt Jocketty are good buddies.

I'm thinking Matt Williams, if he doesn't get the Nationals job.

Cal Ripken Jr., not logical but worthy

I'm going to guess Reds job goes to Jose Oquendo, Cardinals third-base coach since 2000 who has been on the interview circuit the last few years.

That makes sense, given his connections with Jocketty.

LaRussa would be great. With the new replay rules every Reds game would take 5 hours to play.

Matt Harvey will have Tommy John surgery. See you in 2015, kid.

Girardi wanted to keep Joba in the bullpen & Cashman wanted him to start.
