The Sixers are not doing a very good job of tanking.

They've got good young players. They remind me a little bit of the Kansas City Royals. I think that Philadelphia's lack of bench depth will catch up to it in the long haul, but Turner and Hawes are good, and MCW being this good this quick may help at least make them a lot more competitive than anybody expected.

I realize this can't last for the Wolves. Rubio will sprain a knee. Love will dislocate his shoulder. Martin will tear a hamstring. Pek will fall through the ice when fishing. Those things will happen in a span of three months or three days. But in the meantime...damn they're fun. And good. Great inside-outside balance and Love's looking great after last year's debacles and injuries. Rubio still can't shoot but remains incredibly fun to watch and runs everything perfectly, plus his defense remains underrated and tremendous.

Evan Turner is playing like he's pretty damn happy Doug Collins is no longer around. Talk about a young team -- Spencer Hawes (April 21, 1988 -- I looked it up) is the OLDEST player on the current active roster (Kwame Brown and Jason Richardson are on the injured list).

Steph Curry had a triple-double before the end of the third quarter tonight in Philly.

And four games into the season, only one undefeated team left -- Indiana.

Still four winless teams -- Denver, Utah, Washington and Boston. Brad Stevens never lost four straight at Butler. Maybe he should do a reverse Hoosiers, and measure the rim height and free-throw line to show they're just like the gym back at Hinkle Fieldhouse.

It's sad what Denver seems to have become after being such a fun team to watch last year.

In fairness, I think he had more talent then than now.

Who would you rather have on your team...Stephen Curry or Kyrie Irving?

He also bailed before Butler played tougher competition in the Big East with a less talented team than it usually has. Though not to Butler-jack, but Mike Brown's son, a freshman there, looks like he could be the real deal.

Tough choice, wow tough one. I'll go with my hometown guy, simply because we've seen how he can torch you any day of the week.

I'll forever wonder about NBA front offices, Tyreke Evans gets $44M/4 years and is shooting 25% and coming off the bench for the Pelicans. Nice decision. Suns are so bad they have Ish Smith coming off the bench.
