Have to think Denver would be a natural, no?

Washington has next year's game. I suspect in time Denver will get one.

The thing with Denver ... it could be cold and snowing or it could be sunny and mid-50s. But, yes, it should get one, if for nothing else to get a game out West (and, no the Dodger Stadium game doesn't count; talking about the Jan. 1 game).

Yeah, Denver would be a natural. Coors Field or Sports Authority Field?

Washington is like Denver in terms of weather; pretty unpredictable.

Coors since the NFL schedule with regular season/playoffs would be unpredictable. Though maybe Folsom Field in the shadows of the Flatirons. That would be pretty cool.

They could sell 300,000 tickets at $200 each. :)

Easily. Twice that if they played the Habs.

They should just play it on Hudson Bay near Moose River. Free to anyone that can make it there and back via dog sled.

The only thing stopping Denver is the yo-yo nature of the climate. And look at MileHigh's first sentence. Both extremes could occur in the span of three hours on the Front Range.

The only thing stopping Denver from happening is the Broncos. Figure it would have to happen at Coors, which I'm sure would love THAT cold, hard fact.

Well, they've played at Heinz Field before. I like the baseball stadiums because the rink is usually set up in a way that more seats are closer to the ice and provide a better view. The only advantage I can think of to playing in Ann Arbor instead of Comerica Park is they wanted to break the attendance record.

I read that attendance was 105,591.

They'll put it at Coors once they go there. And they will. They're doing the rest of the contrived "Stadium Series" and going to Dodger Stadium for cryin' out loud. Hopefully that stuff gets dialed back and make the Winter Classic and Heritage Classic stand on their own. It's enough.
