The correct answer is "who the fuck cares where Chris Fucking Neil is from?"

Apparently, Minnesota Wild are one of the teams interested in trading for Buffalo goaltender Ryan Miller, especially if Josh Harding doesn't get healthy soon and if the team stays in contention for a playoff spot.

Marc-Andre Fleury's save on Erik Karlsson last night. Wow.

GMGM has to go before Oates. The coach isn't the problem with this team. The poor roster construction is.

What changes would you make to the current roster?

First things first, get some more defensive minded defensemen. After Alzner and Carlson, the back end is just horrendous. Too many young guys not ready, and Mike Green is sieve who is only tolerable because of his offensive acumen.

The defense absolutely bows. They have the two aforementioned competent defenders. Orlov hasn't gotten any better (may have gotten worse) on the back side, and Green is what he is. I generally like Erskine, but the defense just isn't there.

And frankly neither is the coaching. GMGM has gotta go. But I'm starting to think Oates does too. Guys are inconsistent. The offensive skill players are out there playing choppy, tight, and inconsistent. Well, everyone except Ovi. But I haven't seen the collective roster playing like there was a stick buried deep in everyone's ass since Bruce Cassidy was the coach. Oates is getting tighter than Dale Hunter's gum.

Frankly, if I'm Leonsis I'd clean house. But with Leonsis, odds are more likely everyone gets a nine-year extension.

I can see your point. Every once in a while, the Ward-Chimera-Fehr line plays like it did on Sunday, forechecking like beasts, working in front of the net. Just not enough of that with this team.

This is fantastic, whether or not you loved the Vancouver-Calgary brawl.

Caps are a hard team to figure for me. Some nights they can look pretty good. Last night (1-0 loss to the Islanders) it was like they weren't even there.

I would look into trading for a goalie.
