Funny thing is - I wouldn't be surprised if it was Sarkisian who put it in there.

Arkansas State built in a $1.75 million buyout for Harsin so it is very unlikely he goes anywhere.

Smart by the folks in Jonesboro but I didn't realize Harsin had such deep ties to Boise. That might be the one school willing to layout that kind of money.

I wonder if that pissy stomp out by Orgeron will cost him a shot at a head job now.

If he's applying for jobs like FAU his options are probably more limited than most would have thought. He certainly had a right to be pissed, but taking the high road is usually the smart way to go. Sometimes that's easier said than done... I get the sense Orgeron really thought he was getting the job, I don't know if Haden promised him something or misled him, or if having ESPN go out there and do stories about how he should get the job started to get in his head. Who knows?

North Dakota State's Craig Bohl is taking the Wyoming job, per various national writers on Twitter.

Good guy (was an assistant at a school when I was in the SID office), but terrible place to go. At least living in Fargo, I suspect he already has a good supply of long johns.

Curious as to what will go down.

North Dakota State is still in the playoffs. Will NDSU keep Bohl? Cut him loose?

NDSU has to be thankful it has kept him this long. If he wants to coach through the playoffs it would be idiotic not to let him.

A Bison Man is gonna coach this team.

Bohl would do more effective recruiting staying on the NDSU sideline than he would visiting recruits in their homes. And if you are NDSU - you don't want to piss away a chance at a title because your underwear is chafing.
