    Schiano is my guess.

Hasn't the Penn State locker room been through enough? First, children are raped. Now it will be MRSA?

Let the kids negotiate their own deals without collusion from the other schools, and then you would have a point.

I wonder how hot a commodity Schiano is at this point. He'd probably have more luster if he had stayed at Rutgers a couple more years and gone to a couple more bowl games.

A couple more appearances in the Texas Bowl surely would've put him over the top.

What would concern me about Schiano is anytime his team played for something, like a BCS berth, they spit the bit.

Schiano didn't exactly set the world on fire in Tampa Bay.

The only thing I'm hearing around here is, "Oh, god, please not Schiano." I mean, it feels unanimous.

Sources have Franklin and Golden on Penn State's wish list.

... and Larry Johnson Sr. is reportedly the interim coach.

Penn State would be wise to speak to the Nashville DA before hiring Franklin; rumors are building that his handling of the Vandy rape case wasn't exactly kosher.

    Hey, Tom Bradley is available.

I'm not saying LJ Sr. would be a great hire, but he might be a good person to run the store for a couple seasons. He's not a "Penn State guy" but has been around long enough to get some slack from the Paternoists. The current coaching crop out there is underwhelming, and they really need some stability at the top of the university (BoT, presidency, AD) before making the next big hire.

Wicked recruiter, LJ is. (Sorry, wicked.)

Yeah and all you need to do is look at LJ Jr. to see how great his dad is at keeping a handle on young players. I mean, a boffo job there.

You obviously have no frame of reference regarding Larry Johnson Sr. But please, enlighten the masses.
