Kliff Kingsbury would make sense at Texas Tech.

I just don't see where Tuberville goes from Cincy. Half the SEC has turned over in the last two years, and the other half are jobs he's not getting or taking. Unless Missouri comes calling.

Maybe he's had his fill of the SEC.

Maybe he saw that he didn't get a sniff for Arky, Ky, Tenn or back to Auburn and decided he'd like to move to a place where he will have stability for as long as he wants it as opposed to being at Texas Tech where he's with an AD that didn't hire him.

Maybe he just didn't want to live in freakin' Lubbock anymore.

Can't say I blame him for that.

Careerwise, Kliff Kingsbury is better off staying where he is.

Might be Tuberville's last job before retiring, anyway.

I'd rather take a top end C-USA job right now than one in the Big East. That being said, Cincinnati should dominate that conference once Louisville and Rutgers leave. Who's gonna beat them, UConn?

Why? Texas Tech is an AQ school. In the next five years what are the chances that Kingsbury gets offered a better job for his first head coaching gig?

UTEP hires Steelers O-line coach Sean Kugler to be its head coach:

Too bad there are no Steelers fans on the board to provide some insight.

How bad is your life when you're giving up Pittsburgh for El Paso?

He's an alum and he coached there previously... Sounds to me like he wants to go home. Nothing wrong with that.
