Good Lord. It's sad to see how far Southern has fallen since the Bower years.

BTW, anybody know what Bower is up to these days?

Reports percolating this morning Colorado will hire MacIntyre. Had forgotten his time at Ole Miss. Just looking at him, he sure reminds me of his father.

Daily Camera says Mike MacIntyre has indeed been hired in Boulder.

The Denver Post is reporting that he's going to be named coach, so we'll see where that goes... :D

Not a bad hire, but not an exciting one...

The guy did an incredible job at San Jose State, but he inherits one hell of a trainwreck in Boulder.

To what do you attribute USM's crash and burn? Just how little did Fedora leave Johnson to work with? Not trying to excuse Johnson, BTW.

No kidding. He's a former Tech QB and he'll never be a hotter name than he is right now, having coached the Heisman Trophy winner and having beaten the No. 1 team on the road. Why wouldn't he want that job?

No link yet, but apparently Bobby Petrino has landed himself a gig ... at Western Kentucky.
