Been out of the loop all weekend. Didn't realize Taggart had left ...

EDIT: Taggart taking the USF job didn't even make this thread. You folks need to tighten up when I take the day off! ;)

I honestly think he's having more fun at ATM working with Sumlin (who he worked with before at Houston with Keenum and Holgorsen) and now he's working with the Heisman Trophy winner.

Don't get me wrong. I would be equally as happy hiring Kingsbury as I am with Tuberville going to Cincy. I just don't see Kliff leaving.

Was the king of Colorado football, Dave Logan, consulted on this hire?

San Jose State was 2-10 the year before he got there and 1-12 his first year. Their APR was in the toilet (something that is actually pretty difficult to do) and the school was within a foot and a half of shuttering the whole program. Colorado's train-wreck status is nothing compared to what MacIntyre just inherited and rebuilt.

    Good move.

That was never going to happen. They had three other chances to hire him and didn't.

And frankly, why would Dave give up what he's got, which is a pretty sweet gig. And he doesn't have to deal with the Bohn-headed ineptness from up there.

I didn't like Butch Jones for this job, but I do like this move.

Look back a page or two. I'm pretty sure someone -- maybe even me -- posted it.
