Great. Mark Mangino won one too.

In all the Bobby Petrino talk over all the years, I don't think I've ever heard anyone try to say he wasn't a good coach.

From both a program-building and game-planning standpoint, Petrino was the best coach available this offseason, and that includes Bielema, Tuberville and Gruden.

He's a very good offensive coach.

    Right. Exactly.

Don't know about Gruden, but of all of the other names that have been bantered about as coaching candidates the last few weeks, Petrino is by far the best available.

The campus that is the home of Diddle Arena embraces Bobby Petrino.

Best thing for Petrino is Hilltoppers mascot costume provides him extra cushion in motorcycle crashes.

Great hire by WKU. Petrino knows the area and will keep recruiting Florida. (Taggert had like 32 guys on the team from Florida---same thing Strong does at UL, it's how you win in that part of the country).
Question: is it automatic that someone will hire Petrino in 2-3 years? No one hired him this year. What can he really prove at WKU that he hasn't already proven?

Yeah, that won't be proven here... He'll win big and win quickly there and be gone as soon as a school in a BCS conference expresses interest, he'll be gone...

One of the reasons why he might have been such a good hire at a school like Kentucky would be that he would have to be on such good behavior there that they could potentially get him to stay there for a long time, or at least a lot longer than he probably would have stayed normally...

My guess is he'll be there 4 years... or he'll owe $1.2 million to WKU.

Best deal ever for the Hilltoppers.
