    Oh, hell no.

All you needed to see was the first couple of home games, and you'd never say that. Fact is, if ANY of his assistants had been remotely competent (they weren't), they'd have fired Johnson in October. And deservedly so.

Now, it is a fact that the talent ("13 returning starters!") from 2011 wasn't nearly as good as advertised. The graduation losses they had were pretty key.

But any head coach with a pulse, with a staff that halfway cared, could have coaxed at least four wins out of that talent in the craptacular Conference USA.

The Texas Tech swim team is happy to welcome Koach Kingsbury back to Lubbock...

Was I the only one amused that Petrino held up a jersey at the presser with the number '18' on it?

Couldn't they give the guy a jersey to hold up that has nothing to do with age of consent?

Bielema has hired Jim Chaney as his offensive coordinator.

Photoshopped. Texas Tech has no swim team.

No self surgeries last night. Great hire by Hocutt. Kingsbury will do very well in Lubbock.

If ever there was a no-brainer hire, that was the one...

I think he will do well... and even if he eventually leaves, I think he will hang around longer than most would... Tech actually hasn't had too much turnover over the years with Dykes and then Leach, but I think they have their coach for the next decade...

That was the #2 name on the list that people wanted. Dykes.

Even if Dykes wouldn't have taken Cal, they got the right guy in Kingsbury.

One question about Tubs' getaway. Who picked up the check?

If it would have gotten him the fuck out of Lubbock any quicker, I would have.
