All fair points.

I still have a hard time believing if he is offered the job he would turn it down. It may cause him to pause and reflect, but home is home.

 

I think this is what happens. Makes too much sense. Alvarez can coach the Rose Bowl, Diaco can coach in the NC game and then take over at Wisconsin.

It wouldn't surprise me if everything is completely hammered out and deals are in place, just waiting on bowl season to end.

Has anyone seen anything about Darrell Bevell interviewing? I read somewhere that he was "a serious candidate" but I haven't seen anything about him interviewing.

 

And that's a very valid point as well. Tough to say no when (if) mamma calls. If it's not filled before Pitt's bowl game that would only make it more likely.

 

Western Michigan has hired P.J. Fleck as their new head coach but they may have to delay his introductory press conference scheduled for tomorrow due to the fact his wife has gone into labor.

Speaking of the UT helmets again, no one has yet confirmed if they're legit or not.

 

I'm pretty sure that they are.

 

Here's to hoping it's a crazy battle uniform or whatever they're called.
