Multiple reports saying Utah State's Gary Andersen is headed to Wisconsin.

I do too. Though I'm not fond of the scratch marks. Take those off and the helmet is damn fine.

I hope you're right... Here was another guy who used early interest to leverage himself an extension and more money for the assistants who bolted a few weeks later... Not that I blame the guy...

The hire surprises me. That doesn't mean it's a bad one, but Tucker or Bevell or Diaco would have been splashier hires.

  6. Agreed. I love this helmet.

I don't know if exmediahack is reading this, but Bob Nielson is finally making the move. He's leaving D-II Minnesota-Duluth and will take over at Western Illinois later today. It's good move, with WIU going to upgrade their facilities and they're getting one hell of a coach.

Yeah, the knee-jerk reaction for many would be to say how much those suck, too gaudy, another lousy alternate helmet, etc., but at first reaction I think those look great.

Feel bad for the Aggies. But, man, I'm happy for the Badgers. I think it was a great hire.

Yet another reason for Chip Kelly to bolt for the NFL after the Fiesta Bowl.

The NCAA is coming and it doesn't appear to be in the prisoner-taking mood. It didn't buy Oregon's take on the violations and there will be no summary disposition. Take a seat before the Commitee on Infractions.

Why the football schools put up with the NCAA messing with their normal business practices is beyond me. It'd be so easy to just start their own group and ignore the Cal-Irvines of the world.
