    Anyone here cover Ault?

I've enjoyed watching his teams through the years and wonder what he was like to report on.

Man, I hope it's verified that's really CDD. Haven't seen anything confirming either way.

Yeah, I've read somewhere (maybe KNS) that it's been confirmed to be Dooley.

Talked to him after a road game this season. Very, very straightforward and didn't use a lot of 'Coach Speak' from what I could tell.

If this really is Dooley, I wonder if he knows how he is coming across.

I will break out a stereotype brush here, but he comes off as a coddled Southern guy with rich parents and a life of entitlement. You would think for a guy who was Tennessee's 28th choice three years ago, he would have a shred of appreciation that he was an SEC coach and not having to live in Starkville.

Maybe he's just having fun for the first time in the last 20 years.

His Twitter feed is the first thing Dooley's done in 3 years that I've applauded.

I'm just hoping No. 1 references his teaching his team how to properly shower, which marked a then-low point for his tenure, later matched on the field.

These are the kinds of stories I hate from ESPN. Not really much of anything definitive, just throwing more against the wall with "sources" saying he "may be" on more short lists than Chip Kelly and he wouldn't leave for "just any" NFL job.

The guy has eight more years guaranteed at $2.5 million per, IIRC.

He'd be nuts if he left, although I can see it happening.

I wonder if the Iowa AD is doing what he can to build up interest, ANY interest in Ferentz.

If Ferentz leaves on his own, that saves Iowa about $18 Million.

Isn't the only reasonable way that happens is if Crennel is out and Pioli stays in KC to hire the new coach? Sounds like Pioli has a pretty big man-crush on Ferentz.

But yes, I'd bet the Iowa AD would have no problem with Ferentz choosing to leave on his own and getting the chance to go after Bobby Diaco. And probably throwing a Hail Mary pass in Bob Stoops direction, as well.
