How can you expect people to take you seriously with a coach named Joker?

If I had his team, I'd sure as hell be a midnight toker.

If I had his team, I wouldn't limit it to just midnight!

I get that. But associating O'Brien with buzz is like associating C-Span with porn.

I'd like to filibuster Mary Bono Mack.

Arizona State not responding so hot since Todd Graham told his team at halftime that he was accepting the Kentucky job.

Yeah, but it's a step up from that ass-kicking they took from Oregon two weeks ago. Uniforms look better, too.

I'd bet Arizona State pays better than Kentucky. I've heard ASU has a reputation for paying their coaches with the big boys, and not getting much to show for it.

Joker Phillips makes about $1.8 million. Todd Graham makes about $2 million. If Kentucky wanted Graham, given the basketball team's success, I have to think they could go up to $2.5 million.

Kentucky seems like a graveyard for football coaches. Only ones I can remember to have much success there lately are Rich Brooks and the guy (can't even remember the name) who was there around 1999 when Tim Couch played and later got caught in a NCAA investigation.

Seems like you'll be stuck behind Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee and maybe even Vanderbilt forever.

At Arizona State, I would think the upside is greater.

    That would be Hal Mumme.
