Saw somewhere that CU is talking to Utah State's coach. Could do way worse than that.

 

In '94 they picked Slick Rick over Bob Simmons, who was the Assistant Head Coach under McCartney. Jesse Jackson got air time over it.

 

I suspect Mangino would be a lot less expensive than Tressel or Petrino. Hey, he won at Kansas, which is a lot more than most Jayhawks football coaches can say. Maybe he has learned how to treat people better.

 

I suspect Kirby Smart might be a good head coach. Don't know if he'd want to jump into the SEC fire for a first job. Might want to go some place where he has a better chance to succeed. Or just stay at Alabama until the right job comes along.

 

Less than 24 hours after the Arkansas offer rumor surfaced, Les Miles has gotten a raise and contract extension from LSU.

Does SBB get kickbacks from agents for doing the dirty work?

 

Mangino's name surfacing here can mean only one thing:

Well the good thing about hiring Mangino is you wouldn't need that buffalo mascot to lead the team on the field any more....

That's basically who they should be looking at. Him or the Fresno or San Jose State coach.
