Bob Stoops is only 52? I figured he was a few years older.

Gary Andersen stays at Utah State, gets a raise for himself and his assistants. Was reported by several places.

I remember him being VERY YOUNG when he was Spurrier's wunderkind DC in the mid-90s.

Cutcliffe just signed an extension at Duke. He's not leaving.

Jacksonville State "released" Jack Crowe from the last two years of his contract.

JSU won the Ohio Valley Conference last season, but went 6-5 this year.

I think this will win the award as the most delusional firing of the year. Crowe is 87-57 there. If the school thinks they will find a coach who will win more, probably not, but if he does he will not stay but jump to a bigger job. And the school will likely find someone who will not win as much.

It sounds like Purdue and Colorado both want Butch Jones and he's supposed to interview at both places. I'm guessing Purdue can pay more.

Don't know about Colorado's budget, but Morgan Burke at Purdue is notorious for being cheap. That's why they almost lost Matt Painter, an alumnus, to Mizzou. Always choose the other guy if a bidding war breaks out involving Purdue.

Colorado is legendary for being cheap. I think CU knows it needs to pony up to make a big hire. Butch Jones would be a pretty damn good hire.

Arkansas beat four teams this season. Three of those four schools fired their coaches. Blankenship at Tulsa better be looking over his shoulder.
