Well as I continue to work through the grieving process (by refusing to change my avi) I'm curious as to what the board thinks about the remaining possibilities for the Vols, among the names most frequently mentioned:

    Charlie Strong
    Jimbo Fisher
    Mike Gundy
    James Franklin
    Larry Fedora

Which one of these guys is most likely to replace Helen Hunt Mark Richt or Muschamp in losing to Alabama/LSU in a future SEC CG?

Bo Pelini will be on the market in about an hour.

In theory Colorado would have Pac-12 Network money to bolster an offer. As long as that hasn't been spent to pay off Embree.

Bo Pelini isn't going anywhere, except maybe to pour over resumes for a new defensive coordinator.

Pupuches just got the job this year, so that would be a quick hook -- even if Pelini is the actual DC. There will be a sacrificial lamb somewhere on the staff, though, more than likely O line coach Barney Cotton.

Nebraska hasn't played much defense all year. Some of the tackling techniques are not really good.

Franklin. But he won't have to move down I-40 to do it. :D

Why would Fisher make, at best, a lateral move? FSU is easily a Top 10 job.

No one has mentioned Todd Graham's name. It's time for him to make another leap.

Tennessee needs to worry less about "winning the press conference" and focus on finding a good coach.
They seem to swing for the fences and it ends up undermining whomever ends up getting the job.

He's been pretty vocal about FSU finding a more stable conference so the thinking is he would bolt if it looked like FSU wouldn't be able to leave the ACC for the SEC or Big 12.
