FWIW, I got my ballot today and filled it out. Chose the maximum 10. All the PED except Sosa. Chose Biggio, Schilling and Edgar Martinez, too.

You know who else claims to have a hall of fame vote, Drip.

    I got mine too.

I usually let it stare at me on my desk until about Dec. 20.

It's actually a lot of work, the way I do it. Probably takes 3-4 hours spread over however many days it takes.

It's a job I like having, but not a job I like doing, if that makes sense.

Isn't that 98 percent of the jobs in the history of mankind?

I should add that one thing I do is I write on my personal blog about what I went through to make my decision on the most borderline of cases. That way each year I'm not asking myself "Why did I vote for him?"

I don't often switch, and so far I've only switched from no to yes (on McGwire and Raines), but this year it's possible I could go back to no on both of them. I don't think I'll switch on any of the guys I have been voting no on.

The closest no for me was probably Alan Trammell.

Please stop trying to float that lie. It's just an insult to the intelligence of everybody reading this thread.

You can never go back on Raines. Never, you are far too intelligent to do that.

I do love how serious you take your vote and how transparent you are.

Still haven't gotten my ballot. I hope my mailman isn't going to do my voting again.

and that's a huge crock of bullshit. joe's one of the least arrogant people on this board. you took his being literal as being pious? sorry that you are/were insecure at that moment in time in order to make that post.

maybe you should take a huge fucking step back, and remember how this guy has posted ever since he's been here and throw down an apology, because you were out of line.

a guy with a vote speaks his mind out loud here, and you break his fucking balls for sharing it with us? nice fucking work.

yes. i would blame joe for everyfuckingthing that happened in 1939, because, ya know, that makes a lotta sense.

EDIT: and if perry cheated, why was he never caught? unlike bonds, who had people piss for him, he actually was inspected multiple times. by the time he retired, which you would know nothing about, the theory was: he actually just was one oily bastard or it was a huge hoax the he perpetuated to get inside the heads of the batters. every time i watched the guy throw in the kingdome, he basically was undressed by an umpire. if he did cheat, where in the fuck did he hide it ... up his ass?

You are actually going to try to argue that Perry didn't cheat? I can't take anything you said seriously after that. Not one word.

Where did I say Joe was responsible for things that happened in 1939? Oh, that's right. I didn't. The problem is my point just sailed right over your head, just as JC's did. it's too late to protect the Hall of Fame from cheats and dirtbags. It already has both. If you are too naive to realize it, that is your failing.
