BB Bobcat noted a couple of pages ago that he showed up on one of those "Ballot Trackers" with a ballot that did not reflect the one he submitted. Could be some problems with the data all over the place.

I'll also point out that at this point last year — the big ballot tracker had Morris at 62.7 percent (down 2 percent from this year), Bagwell and Raines were at 59.3 (minus 11 and 6 percent respectively) and Trammell at 45.8 (minus 14 percent).

Larkin was way in front with 93.2 percent.

The only two so far with a positive increase so far is Murphy up four percent and Palmeiro up a percent.

I talked with a friend who has a vote and he said based on what the other voters have told him, Clemens and Bonds will get in next year (2014), but that there is a bit of a movement to make them wait a year as "punishment". He didn't agree. He voted for Bonds, Clemens, Raines, Biggio, Bagwell, Morris and Piazza.

I think it's stupid, but they're certainly entitled to their opinions...

I really would love it if Raines makes it this year.

How sad the day when a centerfielder on a NY Yankees dynasty team is in jeopardy of dropping off the ballot after two years.

Learn to read, TP. It really is a fundamental skill in life and it might stop you from making such an ass of yourself here.

You accused me of somehow altering statistics to make my point, which I did not do. I provided the links to the actual statistics.

I showed you that you are completely wrong about run production by using their average per 162 games, not career totals. You just don't like that the statistics don't fit your point.

The bit about who has more career RBI was just me having reminding you of just one more way that your initial comparison of the two players was flawed and incomplete.

Yes, I remember the flawed, incomplete comparison you made in an attempt to misrepresent the two players in question. My point all along was that you chose only categories that favor Martinez while ignoring those in which Molitor was clearly superior and you chose averages while avoiding career totals because those also favor Molitor.

Basically, I think you intentionally posted an incomplete comparison so it would favor Martinez, I'm assuming as part of an argument for his enshrinement in the Baseball Hall of Fame. Of course, even the laziest Hall of Fame voter could see the flaws in your comparison just by spending 5 minutes on baseballreference.com.

i don't read more than the first sentence of any of your ignorant spewage. you know why? because your bullshit is just that ... bullshit.

i don't give a flying fuck what your POV is. i really really don't. that's because i think you're an ignorant POS.
and the bottom line is this: martinez accounted for more runs on average a year than molitor. i hope you don't like that fact, but at the end of the day, it's still a fucking fact. so please, ESAD.

i think we already went over this. i think i already stated that i was pointing out that martinez accounted for more runs per year and had better numbers than molitor. but you, being the tool bag you are, continue to beat a dead horse, even though i admitted said fact ... ya know why? cause you have nothing else.

at the end of the day, martinez was a better hitter than molitor, period.

By the accepted statistical measure for baseball, your statement about Martinez is false, which is no surprise given the source. There. I put it in the first sentence for you. I can understand you not wanting to read the rest. You must get tired of having me hand your ass to you over and over again.
