In the ballot tracker above all this Petty-OOP BS, it lists Rose with 2 percent. Rose is not on the ballot and there is no write-in provision on the ballot. How does ballot tracker find him with 2 percent?
By the way, I've been a voter for 20 years and I've never been asked to reveal my ballot ... and I wouldn't reveal it if asked. Same with the Heisman.
Also, if no one gets in this year -- a year when voters are going 7, 8, 9, 10 deep -- then I would say the procedure needs to be revamped. Indeed, this is a very unique year.

Ken Rosenthal's ballot -- Bagwell, Smith, Martinez, McGriff, Raines and Trammell.

He's not voting for first-year guys as a PED protest.

The Pete Rose vote was a write-in by Marc Maturo -- http://www.rocklandtimes.com/2012/12/27/what-time-of-year-is-it-its-hall-of-fame-time/

Yet him and is naive ilk were right there when this was inches from their face. MLB hasn't punished them but writers feel the need to "protect" the sanctity of the game. What a load of horseshit.

    Rosenthal:

No, I’m not ready to vote for confirmed steroid users or even certain alleged users for the Hall of Fame. But I’m so torn, I’m closer to saying, “yes,” than ever before.

There is obviously some rational way for Ken Rosenthal to determine which allegations (Piazza) are true and which (Bagwell) are false, a way that eludes the rest of us. I admire his ability to sort through everything we know and everything we don't and make such distinctions.

The flawed way that isn't what baseball statisticians use? Hmmm. Can't imagine why. Oh, wait. I can. Because you continue to look for ways to misrepresent the difference between the two hitters.

well, i guess you can look at it this way, asshole: he drove himself in and scored a run. nobody else drove him in.
no. 2: if you actually think you're smarter than anybody, you're fucking high.
no. 3: martinez is better at hitting using MLB's stats (the stats i use) and using saber stats (the stats you use) as buck just showed above. may i ask you this?: why in the fuck are you still speaking?

admit you're wrong and shut the fuck up.

Buster Olney's Ballot -- Bagwell, Biggio, Bonds, Clemens, McGwire, Morris, Murphy, Palmeiro, Piazza and Sosa.

He dropped Raines from last year and put Murphy on, since it is his last year on the ballot.

no, i'm using MLB stats, dumbass. you're using saber stats.
martinez is better using MLB stats and better using saber stats.

Man, that crutch you keep leaning on is going to break under the weight of your bullshit. All the lame insults you toss in my direction aren't going to make you any more wrong.

Run production is a saber stat. You just don't like that it counters your argument. The facts are on my side. Bluster is all you've got and it ain't nearly enough to cover the flaws in your argument.

My primary point still stands. You offered up an incomplete and flawed comparison of Martinez and Molitor. You even admitted that you intentionally left out the elements that favor Molitor. You are reaching manky levels in your trolling on this thread.
