I say you let him start the 8th with the bottom of the order and then let Uehara close it out.

So the Red Sox will clinch in Boston for the first time since 1918.

Not sure how ironic that is in A_QB's case. It is exactly what I expect of him.

Maybe moreso with tony, who has argued against such behavior a time or two that I can think of.

Tonight's theme thus far are that David Ortiz looks like an ape or gorilla, Jon Lester should get cancer and it's a foregone conspiracy to give Boston the title to make up for the Marathon bombing.

Wednesday night at Fenway should be an insane atmosphere, because the Red Sox ...

    1. Have not clinched a World Series at home since Game 6 in 1918.

    2. Have not played a World Series Game 6 at home since 1975.

    3. Have not played a World Series Game 6 period since 1986.

Steak, the prices charged for regular season games at Fenway tend to discourage insanity, let alone Series prices. The hoi polloi will be confined to the saloons and their homes.

Nevertheless, if my post resulted in the use of the phrase "hoi polloi," it was worth it ...

There will be a ton of insane people scalping tickets for cheap outside the stadium like every other pro sporting event.

You're not really this stupid, are you? It is just an act, right?

Perhaps he considers the $1K for standing room on the secondary market cheap?

Game Six will be the most expensive per ticket sports event ever. What're these fans gonna do if the Sox win, go out and set fire to their own Mercedes?
