    Strasburg gave up 4 ER on 2 two-run homers. Otherwise, gave up, I think, three hits over 7 innings with 8 Ks and 1 BB.

    He didn't get the win, but the Nats won. How does that score on the Whitman Worthless Scoring Chart?

    Hmm. So despite his having played the game and my not, it turns out I (and other nerds) were right when we said Halladay looked washed up with his velocity loss. Weird how that works.

    Over now. Verlander goes 7 1/3 against Houston. Was up to 109 pitches, so he likely won't finish the game now.
