    Tim Hudson has accumulated a 54.2 baseball-reference WAR in his career. The consensus on this board is that he's a fringe Hall of Famer at best. Rivera's career WAR? 54.9. Out of this world for a reliever but not for a pitcher.

    Tom Seaver had 106.3. Clemens? 139.4. I can go on.
