Was it Bodie who suffered the only known debate loss to NDJournalist the last time? Or was that someone else?

    No, it was him.

I'm not gonna argue this again.

Probably for the best. You'd lose.

If you think what someone does in 2011 matters in 2013 you're wrong. Each season is an independent event.

You know, like the roulette wheel, just because 25 hasn't hit in 32 spins doesn't mean it's next.

Oh, you have got to be shitting me, right? There's no way you can be equating something of pure chance, like roulette, to another thing based on pure skill like hitting a baseball, can you? That is not the same thing.

Furthermore, I'd say that MIGHT be a good analogy if we were talking about something like one at-bat. But over a complete season, players tend to regress to the mean, whatever their mean is. And Matt Kemp's mean, over close to 3,500 at-bats, has proven to be pretty fucking good.

And you can't even use the "He's on the decline" argument, either. Because he's 28 years old and still in his prime.

Why would I use that argument, I am probably the biggest fan of Matt Kemp you know, he just doesn't look right.

Cool dude. And if he's not right, he'll most likely get right, based on past successes.

I hope so. I can't help but think the shoulder is still not at 100 percent.

In addition to the shoulder, he hurt his hamstring last night and was hit by a pitch the night before on the elbow which may have something to do with "numbness in his fingertips."

I ask you again, what do you look at when trying to project a player. If you don't look at a larger sample size are you just using what they did last week, last month or how long?

Yeah, thanks for deleting my thread. I'd say more, but you'd just run and tell on me.
